Thomas Vail is founder of Vail Associates Architects, begun in 1990. Prior to establishing VAA, Tom worked in the offices of I.M. Pei and Skidmore Owings & Merrill. He attended Syracuse University School of Architecture receiving a Bachelor in Architecture. Tom also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from SU.
Professional memberships and credentials include the American Institutes of Architects and NCARB Certification. Tom is licensed in NY, NJ and MA. Tom has served on the 49th West 72nd St Corp. Board for over 30 years.

Peter has been with Vail Associates, Architects since 1990. He has been involved in all aspects of designing newly constructed homes and renovation of existing spaces. Services provided include furniture and furnishing selection. Peter has a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Syracuse University.

Anna pursued an education in both architecture and engineering before opting for architecture as a career. Anna is a Senior Designer with 10 years of experience producing functional and innovative design environments. Anna earned a Bachelor of Science from Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland.

Ehsanul Haque

Ehsanul Haque has been a part of VAA since mid 2015. Ehsanul received his Bachelors in Architectural Technology from CUNY. While at college, he was part of Emerging Scholars Program and his research with mentor professor ‘Passiv Haus: Approaching a Net Zero Energy Architecture’ was published in college book of abstracts and selected to the 16th International Passiv Haus Institut Conference in Hanover, Germany.
Ehsanul currently works as a Project Architect, overseeing design phase to construction completion, and also pursuing his architecture licensure. Ehsanul enjoys photography in his leisure time and some of his photos are published in books, journals, and articles.
